Early Childhood
3 months - Preschool
Our Early Childhood program has 3 development groups: Infants, Toddlers, and Preschool. In our Infant center, our philosophy of caregiving is based upon the research of Magda Gerber, the director of Resources for Infant Educators (RIE). Our toddler and preschool programs follow the Montessori philosophy.
How will your child benefit from Montessori early childhood programs?
The Montessori approach for early childhood emphasizes on respect for the child and the understanding that each child is an individual. Our teachers help guide the children in our prepared classrooms and model qualities the children will develop: curiosity, respect, compassion, humor, and honesty.
Mixed aged groups
Children thrive in a dynamic, real-world environment that nurtures academic, social, and emotional growth
Critical thinking & abstract learning
Through manipulation of Montessori materials your child learns to analyze and evaluate. This material work naturally guides your child's critical thinking skills from concrete to abstract.
Individualized pace
Each child progresses at a pace suitable to their needs, stage of development, and level of interest.
Integrated learning
Our prepared Montessori environment is inspirational and offers a structure that allows children to explore areas that interest them within the areas of Practical Life, Math, Sensorial, and Language. Additionally they are introduced to science, art music, gardening, recycling, and composting in preschool.
