TODDLER PROGRAM

Montessori on the Lake has a class designed specifically for children who have had their 2nd birthday, between 24 and 36 months of age. The ratio for two years of age is 1:6 adults to children. Inside the toddlers classroom is child sized furniture and sinks with low counters. There are small sized toilets to facilitate potty training. The Montessori curriculum is introduced; circle time, work time, playground, lunch and nap are all on a consistent schedule that is comfortable, as two-year-olds love routine.

The classroom allows their new sense of autonomy and independence to flourish where they can explore, discover, develop language skills and vocabulary, and learn to express their feelings. Our lead teachers, Ms. Kayla and Ms. Janelle are both experienced, warmhearted, supportive and outgoing.
